Lollapalooza Day #2

The second day was probably my favorite, ‘cause it just rocked my world from the start to the end.

Opening up our afternoon, we had the wonderful Two Door Cinema Club. That was a show I wanted to see for a long time, ‘cause I think they’re great, and I really conect with what they have to say. And as high my expectations were about they concert they got there. Loved it!

Right after Franz Ferdinand performed, doing awesome with an amazing huge crowd singing along.

Queens Of the Stone Age was the next show, which in my opinion should had been the main concert of the day because those guys are just fucking unbelievable. Rock N’Roll at it’s best. I couldn’t hold still for a second.

So, just when I though it couldn’t get better, A Perfect Circle played. I have to say I like they’re music even though I don’t know them very well, but I really became a fan that day. Sensacional!

Closing our night, the actual main show The Black Keys, which definetly suprised me in the best possible way. They’re so cool, they sound great and they make you totally into their vibe.

Best day award, for me!

Cake was the one of the day for him.

Lollapalooza Day #1

The first day was a big surprise of amaziness to me, because I already had big expectation for the other two days, but I wasn’t that sure about the first one, and I almost didn’t get a ticket to it, what would had been a big mistake.

The first concert was Of Monsters and Men, and it was completely adorable. I didn’t even knew much of them, but it was really nice.

Then we got to see The Temper Trap doing awesome, followed by a great classic performance by Cake.

The Flaming Lips was pretty insane. I’m still not sure what heel happened, and it kinda made me wish I was high.

Passion Pit and DeadMau5 performances were simultaneous, which sucked ‘cause I wanted to see both of them. So we decided to watch half of each, wich worked out ok. I didn’t really enjoyed DeadMou5’s concert so much, but my boyfriend is a big fan of electronic music. Now, Passion Pit was just that sweet indie rock, just as I like it.

And then it was time for the main concert of the day: The Killers. I gotta say even though it was raining the whole time since we got there and there was mud everywhere, which was pretty upsetting, the The Killers concert made all worth it. What a show. I mean, really, it was beautiful, and I don’t even have the words to describe it.

Good start.
